Job Description

-Experience in a quality and/or manufacturing setting -Basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office, LIMS, etc.) Contract Inspector Primary Responsibilities: -Sample collection at various processing points -Visual sample evaluation -Sample collection and analysis recordkeeping -Routine balance/instrument verification and documentation -Visual inspection of process lines -General housekeeping of work area -Other assigned duties *This is part of a 4-person rotating shift. The schedule is based upon amounts of product run each week, so shift hours may vary week to week. Schedules are planned the week prior to production, with a requirement of working a late shift rotation every 4 weeks. Hours typically vary between 5am - 6pm, but can be as early as 3:30am and as late as 11pm (although this is not typical). Shifts are split to allow for reasonable workloads. **Long sleeve shirts and pants are required, as well as steel toed shoes, but are NOT provided by the company. Earplugs, safety glasses, and hairnets (and beardnets, if necessary) are also required in production areas, and are provided by the company.
